We are proud to announce that Sweethaven is IASME Gold Accredited and a Certified Assessing Body.

What is IASME Accreditation?

IASME is one of five companies appointed as Accreditation Bodies for the assessment and certification of the Government's Cyber Essentials Scheme. The IASME accreditation provides a badge of proof to reflect passing of the "GDPR ready" assessment, alongside achievement of Cyber Essentials and IASME Governance. The IASME badge thus proves necessary steps have been taken to prevent a data breach and work towards GDPR readiness.

Why is an IASME Accreditation beneficial?

GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) came into effect on 25th May 2018. This, coupled with a continually evolving threat landscape, means that it is crucial that you are taking the necessary steps now to protect your business and its data.

With GDPR now implemented, companies are required to ensure secure collection, storage and usage of personal information, regardless of company size. Data security is therefore of paramount importance, especially within the context of escalating severity of cyberattacks on the government and private sector alike. Extensive national and international campaigns have now been launched to proactively encourage companies to ensure their cyber-defence strategies are carefully considered and implemented, and that data is protected accordingly.

What can Sweethaven now do to help your company improve cybersecurity and GDPR readiness?
